George Quiney is an artist and educator working primarily in the field of print. In his work he teases out and embellishes personal stories in order to interrogate his close relationships and deepest feelings. He is the winner of the Travers Smith CSR Art Award (2024, RCA Category) and has been invited to take part in public projects, including with the Parliamentary Art Collection. He develops his practice by making work from his Camden studio, on location, and within his professional setting as an art teacher. He exhibits regularly, including group shows at Oxford University’s Kendrew Barn, Clifford Chance and Travers Smith law firms, and Mint Gallery.
